Suspended somewhere between the sea and the desert, Dunes at Dusk brings together the quiet beauty of Montana agate with the sharp, weathered forms of natural shell.

Handmade from sterling silver, these sculptural drop earrings feature high-grade Montana agate stones suspended above brown and tan shells with dramatic, spike-like silhouettes. The natural variation in the agate gives each earring its own landscape, while the shells create an unexpected contrast — earthy, textural, and almost prehistoric in appearance.

These earrings were originally created for the 2024–25 Earrings Galore exhibition, presented by Heidi Lowe Gallery. The exhibition showcases contemporary jewelry from artists around the world, selecting approximately 60 artists from hundreds of applicants. Dunes at Dusk traveled with the exhibition and was showcased during New York City Jewelry Week, Mexico City Jewelry Week, and Munich Jewelry Week.

Being selected for Earrings Galore meant these earrings were created not simply as a beautiful pair of earrings, but as a considered piece of contemporary jewelry — designed to be experienced, examined, and carried with a story.

The result is a pair that feels completely unlike anything else: natural stone suspended over sculptural shell, delicate movement against bold texture, and two tiny landscapes meeting at the ear.
